Beacon Coffee Co. & Mercantile: A Unique Coffee Experience in Beacon, NY

Very interesting coffee shop with unique flavors and types of coffee drinks that we haven’t seen elsewhere. We appreciated the “walk through” of the menu to help find the best choices based on our normal coffee orders. There was comfortable seating to get a bit of work done, and the shop also served as a retailer of select products. Yes, you can buy some coffee beans here, but I also saw fresh bread, hot sauce, some pottery, and some fancy watches for sale too. Nice place to stop if you’re looking for a spot to kill some time in Beacon!

My favorite coffee spot in New York so far! Creative drinks and unusual vibe - I have never been able to shop for watches while sipping coffee before! Tried a cannelle and was pleasantly surprised, the sponge was rich and Moist without being mushy and the flavor was not too sweet. The coffee was well worth enjoying! Be sure to make a trip here!

Beacon Coffee offers a cozy and chic atmosphere perfect for lounging. The cappuccino was well balanced and exceptional. The pistachio iced latte stood out with its bold, unique flavor. The friendly staff added to the welcoming vibe, and the cute outdoor seating gets perfect sunshine.

Beacon Coffee is famous for a reason. The coffee is wonderful and balanced, the interiors strikes the perfect balance of luxurious and homey. I could spend hours and hours here happily.

This coffee shop had a great vibe to it. The music was great, the other customers were chill, and the people behind the counter looked happy to be working there. The space is clean and inviting. I opted for a brewed tea which was strong and delicious. The pastries were delectable as well!

The best coffee shop in Beacon, hands down. We sampled an iced version of the 2 day brewed roast black and it blows all other Main Street coffee shops out of the water. Next was a hot Aloha latte topped with a foam that will make you rethink what coffee should taste like. These were paired with an everything croissant sourced from a Brooklyn bakery. Normally I'm skeptical of outsourced food at a coffee shop but the croissant was fresh, flakey, buttery, and soft. The everything seasoning may have been a bit too salty or over the top and there could've been a bit more cream cheese inside to balance things out, but overall it was a decent enough breakfast option. The staff was very friendly and VERY knowledgeable. The dedication to the brewing craft is evident and pays off wonderfully. The interior of the shop is ornate, clean, well decorated, and very well maintained. This is a great place to come for a quick coffee pick up or to hang out with some friends in a relaxing environment. The bathroom was similarly well maintained and clean but also had nice personal touches that most businesses in general don't even consider. Overall, this is a coffee shop that executes every tiny detail to the letter from the menu, to the guest experience, and back again to foam that you should absolutely, 100% order on your latte. Bravo to the owner and team at Beacon Coffee Co. & Mercantile. We will most certainly be back for more.

Great little cafe with unique coffee drinks (definitely try the infused lattes!) and a chill vibe. Really enjoyed the Balthazar pastries too. Highly recommended.

They have very unique flavors, lots of seasonal too. I got the “not another pumpkin spiced latte” and I think it was more unique as the name suggests. My only gripe is that it was $9.19 for just a hot 12oz cup w oat milk My friends got iced drinks and they were also good. The coffee is not too acidic and the flavors are unique.
